Inquiry Question

I am working within a group of three and we decided we wanted to relate the question not only as asked to the essential questions, but also to our field of teaching, the performing arts. We are having trouble deciding how to word the question, but the idea of it is that we want to discuss how the use of dance or the performing arts can be used within a democratic school system to further enforce a means of active learning, for example, which as learned in the Promise of Urban Schools is key for an educational experience.

I don't have a suggestion about the posing of your questions, but here is a piece of information that might be helpful.
Last year, in one of my courses, we studied different ways of learning (ie: visual learners, auditory learners, etc). There was a type of individual who learns best though the physical doing of things, I think it was called body-kinesthetic learning. You might be
able to incorporate this somehow. Just a thought ....

Now let's see. Dance/performing arts and school democracy....maybe you guys can try to incorporate how many schools are closing down the performing arts, and how that effects students.
